Remote User Instructions

These materials have been made more generic. References to the organization of the local machines has been removed. In order to work through this material a remote user needs to have the following software available:

These programs are all freely downloadable from the web for PC users. There is no equivalent Mac software for GeneDoc, but the other two programs have Mac versions.

RasMol

TreeView

Files will need to be saved to your local machine and worked with throughout the exercises. Organizing these files in a single location will help in finding materials needed later on. Being able to print these saved files helps as well.

To make working through the exercises easier PDF versions of the various exercises and their help guides are now available to download.
